It seems as if live theater — from Broadway and the West End down to the smallest regional theaters — is undergoing massive changes, most of them bad. How interested are you in a Freakonomics Radio examination of theater economics?

@studenomics If you accept the premise of too much, then yes. I have met people who have House paid, decent pensions, live great life within means but saved like crazy in RRSP that also grew well. They are shocked at their tax liability. Don't need that much. Also no kids.

My sweet baby Rox had to be taken to the hospital and is getting her paw worked on after slicing it from the top to far down inside. Nothing life threatening but your girl is sad and overwhelmed and every vet update just breaks my heart. Send hugs.

Today's painting. After literally months of musing, sketching and studying, I have finally painted the Gardiner Expressway. Some say this is wasted effort for a painting that most people will only briefly scroll past. I say I'm just getting started.

@studenomics In my early twenties I remember two weekends in a row I did a cash advance from my credit card at a convenience store ATM and the next morning was like WTF are you doing, never do that again. Ever. Many learn this lesson late.
