I’m going to keep it real with you, this year the game broke my heart. The Ringside Pass was ALWAYS going to be a tough sell. Then they IMMEDIATELY nerfed a path to completing it faster. That made me tap out. Killed all my excitement. RP should be for stuff like this, not gambling on packs or cards HOPING to get what you want. After completing the CM Punk showcase, I really had no desire to keep going. I’m not good enough at the game and making me spend hours just to get things buying the character packs used to give you second one upon logging in was just a no-go for me. And here is the thing, I think I am one of the more understanding people when it comes to post launch monetization, but this has become too much. My content around the game had always been showcasing new stuff and that went out the window when I found out they wanted me to play 1000 matches just to get basic characters. It sucks man. I really want this game and this industry to succeed but they made a bad choice herewith RP and I don’t know how they can fix it.
