@TourSwingsTommy @JustinRose99 I’ll never forget his holing out a wedge from the gunch for birdie on the 72nd hole that year. O’Meara would win with Tiger also in contention down the stretch.

@litmysoul @Variety Finally saw this and then found your review while reflecting on it. I was compelled to say that I really enjoyed it as a meaningful analysis of a tremendously moving film. Nice work.

#TrainDreams star Joel Edgerton on James Cameron saying Netflix films that don’t play in theaters shouldn’t qualify for the Oscars: “None of us should be really squabbling with each other over what has a right to be seen or awarded,” Edgerton said on Monday night at the #GothamAwards. “I would still semi-die on a hill for cinema. But I'm also a pragmatist.”

@MattGinella @katie_ginella Well-said, Matt, and fully appreciated. This is no time for the sidelines. It’s not popular in our industry and speaking out isn’t always easy. Respect for decency, civility, maturity, and honesty dictate that we do.

Good afternoon. Katie and I are just back from a peaceful protest in Irvine. For the most part, I have always appreciated social media and my “followers.”🙏 If you actually know me and my family, then you know I am married to a naturalized adoptee from Korea and we are raising a mixed and modern family. Yes, my “lane” is golf, but I also tell stories about culture, community and kids. I am grateful to have a “platform” and how I choose to use that is a personal choice. Mine, not yours. For the record, I am not a “lib-tard” or a “pussy.” I believe Democrats (and most politicians) have been failing this country for over a decade. And they’re definitely failing us now. So is Congress and the Supreme Court. We are lacking leadership. That being said, I am also not a member of a blind right-wing cult of confusion and ignorance. I’m in the sensible middle. And I’d like to believe WE are the majority. I love this country, constitution, freedom, diversity, decency and immigrants. My great grandparents were all immigrants. My father served in the Army. He had nothing but integrity and he raised us to fight for what’s right. I am anti-racism, murder, ICE and this administration. The lies and hypocrisy of the pardons, corruption and abuse of the system for personal and financial gains is staggering and disgusting. Their goal is to divide and distract us. It’s working. I believe Stephen Miller is a Nazi. Steve Bannon is a raging and guilty lunatic. Hegseth, Patel, Bondi and Noem are grossly unqualified. This is all a power grab and diversion. Although I don’t condone illegal immigrants or “bad guys,” I care more about the release of the Epstein files—and what is obviously a massive pedophile cover up—than the immigrants waiting for the system to process their documents to legal status. If you saw the recent murders of Alex Pretti and Renee Good, or the detaining of Liam Ramos, 5, and believe they were all justified, we are on opposite sides of history. My eyes don’t lie. I actually believe that their attempt to divide us could backfire and ultimately unite us. But we need to be willing to see the truth first. I am comfortable where I am at this moment, a tipping point of this country, are you? Silence is complicity.✌🏼

@RyanCaven1 In addition to Marven’s suggestions, you might try to add Pinehurst 10 if time allows. Save some time for the Cradle, too.

@BFQuinn @m_bultman As a Marquette native who has been away for 18 years, my appreciation for the UP has only grown. It’ll always be home and is certainly a special place well worth exploring with people happy to chat sports with any strangers. Friendly bunch up there!

Guys Visiting Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Let’s settle something, Haggis this and haggis that …. Yea , we eat that once or twice per year. The real Scottish delicacy is in this image… An ice cold bottle of full fat Irn bru, a fresh morning roll with Square Sausage, runny egg and a crispy tattie scone. With Brown sauce or Ketchup

@RyanCaven1 All were memorable and inviting a return, but if I had to choose, I’d say the Old Course and North Berwick were my top two. This is more of a fun photo here, as a dog from a group on the 17th green photobombed some strangers on the Swilcan Bridge. The Old Course in a nutshell!

@RyanCaven1 Carnoustie, New and Old Courses, Kingsbarns, Dumbarnie, and then down to East Lothian for North Berwick and Gullane 1. This was the week before the Dunhill, with perfect weather for golf. I’m digging through about 500 photos right now and they only make me want to return!

@Adalyn0811 @GCAJoeA It was fantastic fun. Gullane #1 was really enjoyable today as well. Are you playing in the Inverness-Evans Scholar event on Monday? I always look forward to returning for that tournament.

As I’m on the last leg of my flights back to Cleveland, can’t stop thinking about the magic of St. Andrews. Spending the last four days of trip there soaking it all in was incredible. Playing the Old Course Thursday was a day I’ll never forget. It was day that started Tuesday afternoon when my local friend sent me a message we were playing Thursday. The weather that day was perfect. 55-60 degrees and sun the whole day. 2:20 tee time. We started with lunch in the St Andrews Golf Club. That was incredible in and of itself. Then we headed to the first tee about 15 minutes before teeing it. My hands haven’t shook that much on a first tee shot in a long long time. Then we were off. I had a great caddie who’s been there for twelve years. He guided me around for my first time playing it. The course played hard and fast just how you’d want it. The final stretch of holes in the setting sun was something out of a picture book. Sublime. After we finished the round, we headed back into the SAGC for an after round beverage and reminisced about the day. I couldn’t stop smiling from ear to ear. We all have days in golf that will always be remembered and hold a special place. My day on the Old is locked in my memory bank forever.

@LinksGems @alfreddunhill Heading back home tomorrow but was fortunate to play all three of those over the last few days, having watched the tournament for years. Unless the weather proves a big challenge, they should be able to eat them up as the peripheral native grasses are very thin this year.

Anybody going to next week’s Dunhill Links Championship in Fife? I’ve always wanted to go see this event, and was hoping to get a chance to this year, but it appears the day job will intervene this time around. It’s played on the Old Course at St. Andrews, the Championship at Carnoustie and Kingsbarns - I can’t think of another regular event that is played over three world top 100 courses and two major championship venues.
