@bdill78@junebug61619@TCody2020@BernieSanders As far as the lazy thing, it's hard to be motivated at 7.25 an hour. That was minimum wage in 2009 and hasn't kept up with inflation since. I agree that everyone else should get a pay raise as well but that's on the employer. But now you have bargaining chips to get that raise.
@BrianStPetersen@junebug61619@TCody2020@BernieSanders They can join a labor union or learn a trade? A big problem with some of the younger generation is they are lazy. I'm all for a minimum wage increase as long as it's mandated that everyone making above minimum wage gets the same raise!
Half of American workers are living paycheck to paycheck, and millions earn starvation wages. With Democratic control of the White House, the Senate and the House, we must raise the minimum wage to a living wage – $15 an hour. No excuses.
@CoxsTench@TCody2020@BernieSanders Well sure. With all the business they will be getting since everyone has more money to spend. And if they aren't spending at your business, then you're doing it wrong.
@CoxsTench@TCody2020@BernieSanders Yes. Wage will be increased. Because the manager can say "get bent" and be a regular employee. And they need managers so that gives the workers power. And if the business can't pay for it then they are a failing business.
