It was definitely intentional by Mota. The previous spring training he hit Piazza and then Piazza grabbed him by the neck after Mota left the game. This was the first time they faced each other since then. The first pitch Mota threw at Piazza was very inside and almost hit him and then he did hit him with this one. I think the story goes Piazza actually after being thrown out went to the Dodgers clubhouse looking for Mota. Mike Piazza needed 4 grown ass professional athletes to stop him. Holy shit was he pissed!

Kennesaw State needs to learn you leave early at the final gun, not the halftime horn. That is an old Boston Celtics trick, leave at the final horn, the refs may not feel the need to come get you. #Stockpile
