On the situation in the Middle East, and in my capacity as Chairman of the Non-Aligned Movement , all these countries, Israel, Iran, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and the United States are all friends of Uganda. 🚨 JOS BUTTLER IS FAILING ENGLAND RIGHT NOW 🚨
When you are the captain and the opening batter, you don’t get the luxury of “finding form” in a World Cup. You are supposed to set the tone. Right now, Buttler isn’t doing that.
England’s powerplay dominance has disappeared. Instead of putting bowlers under pressure, he is allowing them to settle. In T20 cricket, that shift in control changes the entire match dynamic. When the opener doesn’t attack with authority, the middle order walks in under pressure instead of freedom.
This isn’t about past achievements. It’s about present output. A captain has to lead from the front, especially in high-stakes tournaments. If the leader is struggling repeatedly, questions are inevitable.
England cannot afford low-impact starts from their most important batter. At this level, performance matters more than reputation.
And right now, Buttler is not performing at the level England needs. 🔥🏏
