The Red Sox have a three game set with the Orioles at Fenway! The 1st inning has been rough for them this year. They have 6.05 ERA in the 1st, with opponents having an .866 OPS, both 26th. Luckily, Early (3.27 ERA in 1st, .744 OPS) and Tolle (2.57 ERA, .473 OPS) start games 1 & 2

Shane Baz has enjoyed some success pitching at Fenway in his career. In 17.2 innings across 3 starts, the righty has a 3.06 ERA and has held opposing hitters to a .609 OPS.

Ceddanne Rafaela is having a breakout season offensively. As the Red Sox search for offense, the gold glove centerfielder has found himself in the 2-Hole recently, but it hasn't come with much success.
He is hitting .204/.264/.327/.591 with a 62 WRC+ in 11 games batting 2nd

The Red Sox have discussed moving Marcelo Mayer to shortstop, Chad Tracy said. They’re more likely to do that if Trevor Story has surgery/misses an extended periods. And they’d want Mayer to practice there first before getting into games; he hasn’t done so this year.
