2/ At the start of the hustings the audience was reminded there was "strictly no media" and there was "no consent" to record, photograph etc, and we were told security was in the room.

1/ A quick point on this for those asking... I don't know if the politicians taking part in the event knew. I'd assume they didn't. I was asked to leave when my ticket was scanned and I dealt with it quietly and then went in.

Asking a journalist to leave an election hustings? @_RebeccaMcCurdy was absolutely right not to go. I hope the MSPs involved were either unaware of this or intervened or the chair - a former MSP - did.
