He picked it up in hopes to find the owner somehow instead of homeless getting ahold of it first but unfortunately there was no kind of identification inside. I know someone is really upset this morning as there were keys and a fresh lunch inside. Hoping to turn someone's day around. Thank you !!”

SWIFT WATER RESCUE Tucson Fire crews responded to a swift water rescue at 12:07 a.m. this morning near South Harrison and East Escalante roads. Engine 12 arrived on scene just three minutes later and found a vehicle stranded in the Pantano Wash, surrounded by fast-moving water. The driver had climbed onto the roof of the vehicle. Crews from Quint 17 extended a ladder to the vehicle, helped the driver onto the ladder, and safely brought them to shore. No injuries were reported. ‼️Safety reminder ⚠️Monsoon storms can cause washes and roadways to flood quickly, even if it isn't raining where you are. ⚠️Never attempt to drive through a flooded wash or roadway. Just a few inches of fast-moving water can sweep away a vehicle.

This afternoon, Tucson Fire responded to three calls involving vehicles stranded in flooded roadways. In most cases, drivers were able to safely get themselves out of their vehicles. At one location, Tucson Fire personnel assisted by helping one driver out of the water. ‼️As monsoon storms continue to move through our area, please remember: Turn Around, Don't Drown! It only takes a small amount of moving water to make driving dangerous. ‼️If you encounter a flooded roadway, find another route and never attempt to drive through it.

🚨SWIFT WATER RESCUE At 7:21 this evening, Tucson Fire crews responded to a swift water rescue in the Alamo Wash near Wilmot Road and 5th Street after a caller reported a person stranded on a small section of the wash bank surrounded by fast-moving floodwater. Firefighters positioned crews downstream while another crew deployed a ground ladder to reach the individual. Because there was a 10-foot drop from street level to the wash bank, firefighters climbed down the ladder, secured the individual with a life vest and rescue ring, and safely lifted them out of the wash. Nine Tucson Fire units responded to the incident, and the individual was rescued without injury.

🚨#BREAKING: Firefighters in Wisconsin are hailing 5 teenage boys as HEROES after they BUSTED DOWN A DOOR TO A BURNING HOME to save a 91-year-old elderly couple and their family on July 4th. When firefighters arrived, they discovered the boys had already rescued ALL SIX PEOPLE inside the home. According to investigators, the boys noticed what they thought was a bonfire from their home. As they walked closer, they saw a home was on fire and started banging on the doors and windows and heard people yelling. The group of boys BROKE DOWN THE DOOR, ran into the home, called out for the victims and rescued all them. “We started calling out for people and asking if anybody was in there. And then we ended up getting quite a bit of responses. There ended up being five or six people in the house..." "...you are kind of just feeling around, yelling, and then I heard a couple in the room on the left. So I went in there and got them out." As the last person stepped out of the home, the flames intensified. INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!
