Disappointed in Keano. Wonderful player, best captain in my lifetime, arguably for any club. But that response, the way he's been with Carrick cause his wife said mildly disparaging comments 20 years ago, his refusal to speak with Fergie. He needs to grow up.

I am not a doctor. Is there someone who can explain to me the medical use of all these materials found in the Shifa hospital in Gaza?

This Dorgu LW experiment has got to be the last game surely. Can't be going into next season still thinking it's a serious option.

Needless to say if Ennis does pull ahead of Boylan on the first count, that will be a big story. But so too is Fianna Fail’s abysmal performance in Dub Central, and lacklustre in Galway too

Backed the re structure and pushing of a candidate that couldn't win time after time after time, backed the near half a million spent on her in the European Election, they destroyed a machine that knew what it was doing, but that being said the machine didn't help itself either

“Let’s be honest a lot of work has to be done in Dublin Central,” Fianna Fáil minister Darragh O’Brien says as he arrives at the count centre with his party’s candidate councillor John Stephens. It’s not been a great day for FF. Based on the tallies, Stephens is on about 4%.

#dubc #be26 100% TALLY IN DUBLIN CENTRAL Daniel Ennis will win. He will get far more Labour and Green transfers than Boylan. A disasterous day for Mary-Lou. A disappointing day for Simon Harris and an utter humiliation for the Taoiseach. Steenson won't overtake Hutch

@KeithMillsD7 If you believe that the people who always turn out came out yesterday and voted for Hutch then you need to get in out of the sun

@Brianpmohan The people who voted yesterday are the hardcore voters who will always turn out, even when presented with a lacklustre (and that's being kind) list of candidates. I'm not sure FG re-takes this seat if the constituency boundaries remain the same. FG are down >6% today.

#dubc #be26 While Ennis's win will be the headline, the performance of the government is the real story here. Fewer than 1 in 6 voters went for FF or FG. Of those who could have voted; it's fewer than 1 in 17. Dublin Central is revolting (if quietly, for the moment)

@AdrianKavanagh Large family connection and inter family connections should see large transfers from Hutch to Boylan

Janice Boylan will do OK with some of the transfers. I think it's fair to say that Daniel Ennis is very much in the driving seat here, but it'll be close enough in the end, especially after the PBP-Sol, Hutch and Steenson transfers come in
TheJournal Politics@TJ_Politics

🚨Here is the final tally from Dublin Central: Daniel Ennis (Social Democrats) - 4795 (20%) Janice Boylan (Sinn Féin) - 4323 (18%) Janet Horner (Greens) - 2798 (11%) Gerry Hutch (I) - 2792 (11%)

@Brianpmohan @KeithMillsD7 @fiannafailparty @MichealMartinTD Ye are fooked. Gerry Hutch will win a seat next time around. The main thing for the government parties out of this election is how will they block Gerry Hutch from running in the next election. This will scare the shit out of them.
