Sports takes and knee jerk reactions, let’s agree to not call each other names- we can argue smarter than that

@simonebilesquit @Colefloflo @DanteTheDon That was probably the softest comeback you could have come up with. Piss poor effort for a piss poor troll.

@simonebilesquit @Colefloflo @DanteTheDon Saying this as an LSU and Saints fan is wild. Both of your teams are buns. I’m a Cardinals fan but holy smokes I don’t peacock around the internet pretending they are good or even enjoyable to watch 🤣🤣🤣
English

@Colefloflo @DanteTheDon How about those Bills! Fuckin choke artists! And the Sabres and the Mets? Holy shit your life must be miserable!

If you're an OKC fan, you'll probably ignore this, and that's okay. As a fan of your team, you have every right to do so.
The deeper issue isn't just SGA - though he polarizes fans the most, and for good (or bad) reason. If the NBA wants to become a watchable sport again, especially in the playoffs, it can't keep going like this.
Yes, the art of drawing fouls has been encouraged by the rules and the way games are officiated. But just because something is technically allowed doesn't make it good or exciting to watch.
As a neutral fan - someone who might be tuning into basketball for the first time, someone from outside the U.S., but also someone who's watched the game for over 30 years - I can only sit here and shake my head.
You think the focus on SGA is unfair because other players flop too? There are levels to this. The scrutiny is magnified because he's the reigning MVP and is likely going to win it again.
So the real question is: how does the NBA move forward? If the league doesn't change the rules or the officiating, why would SGA (or any other star) stop doing it?
Is it fun to watch? Is it good for the sport? Is it a great example for younger players and fans around the world? No. Do I understand why he does it? Absolutely.
Both things can be true at the same time. What's also true is that this has to be addressed and changed - and that responsibility lies mostly with the NBA, not the players.

> miss Batman. Christian Bale gets it
> miss Bond. Daniel Craig gets it
> miss Superman. Brandon Routh gets it
> they call you the unluckiest man in Hollywood
> Zack Snyder calls. you're playing World of Warcraft
> miss the call
> call back immediately. say you were "saving a life"
> become the first non-American Superman in history
> bench press the entire DC universe
> Netflix offers you The Witcher. you read all the books first

@MW_NinerFan @Hammxx1x @LegacyFitz11 Of course- Anything I can do to ease the suffering of your fan base during these trying times of competing for division titles and Super Bowls year in, year out
English

@MW_NinerFan @Hammxx1x @LegacyFitz11 I’m sorry that your diamond shoes don’t fit and that your wallet is too small to hold all of your money- those are real problems and just horrendous to have to endure. My heart bleeds for your suffering, thoughts and prayers to the Ninets fan base and their annual suffering
English

@BrickMustang @Hammxx1x @LegacyFitz11 As a cardinals fan you never have hope. As a niners fan you always have hope and when you lose every single time it’s pretty hard to watch
English

@TheAZsportsfan1 Both of them are going to be buns in 2026 lol

Nah we’re good… we got Carson Beck 🔥🗣️

Could we see Rodgers become an Arizona Cardinal? (H/T @LukeLapinski)
English

@Hammxx1x @MW_NinerFan @LegacyFitz11 What’s worse- losing in the Super Bowl or failing to post a winning season in the majority of seasons over that 20 year period? Holy hell what are we arguing here? Do you legitimately think fans would rather watch their team suck ass or make the playoffs and win divisions?
English

@BrickMustang @MW_NinerFan @LegacyFitz11 But most people are aiming for the Super Bowl
And they have lost every single Super Bowl. They’ve appeared in in the past 20 years.
