We get you all wanted him to start in the NHL but to say his pro career is already over because he’s going to Providence is ridiculous.

Hagens watch continues for at least another week. Unless BC wins the Hockey East Championship and qualifies for the National Tournament - Tuesday, March 24th at home against TOR could be a date circled for a Hagens debut in BOS if he indeed signs by then.

@Savageboston @ChrisCotillo Honestly the most heartbreaking trajectory in a long time. He went up too soon, overhyped, unready. Very sad. The move with all the threats to Mayer this offseason are a clear over-correction for this, though. It's all underpromise and overdeliver from here on out.
