After mastering sack and bed cultivation of crops like cucumber and okra, they are now being trained to train other women in their communities, lead step-down sessions, and support them to set up their own climate-smart, home-based farms.

When women are empowered, they don’t keep it to themselves, they pass it on. That’s the vision behind #WAVES Project. From our cohort of 50 women, 16 exceptional women will be stepping forward as Climate-Smart Agriculture trainers.
