Most Euro-Americans today did not come here until after the 1900s. Using race in all your statements is a continuation of the harms from slavery. The 13th Amendment connects us as Freedmen to our ancestors that were enslaved, just like the 1st and 2nd Amendments connect all of us. You still have the responsibility of the 13th Amendment as an American. If you ignore that, ignore the Constitution too. As an institution for Freedmen, if you are using race in all your communications to a harm population in the current day, you are still using the same harms from slavery.

This idea of "reparations" in practice would be what actual systemic racism looks like. You'll notice that its proponents never have a coherent argument for how exactly it would work. Most white people today don't have ancestors who owned slaves and most black people don't have ancestors who were slaves. Because the point is simply taking money away from white people and giving it to black people.
