The average term for a bridging loan remained static again at 12 months in Q3, following on from Q2. #bridgingtrends

The average LTV came in at 56.8%, falling almost 2.5% from 59.3% in Q2. #bridgingtrends

The average completion time for a bridging loan dropped another six days in Q3, falling from 52 days in Q2 to 46 in Q3. #bridgingtrends

Despite the drop in second charges, interest rates which fell to 0.86% in Q2 have now risen back up to 0.92%. #bridgingtrends

Second charge lending continues to fall, coming in at 9% in Q3, from 11.6% in Q2, while first charges rises to a record 91% from 88.4% in Q2 as borrowers focused more on purchasing a property instead of releasing equity. #bridgingtrends

Data provided by @KnowledgeBankUK reports that regulated bridging continues to hold its position as the most searched-for term made by bridging finance brokers in Q3, following on from Q2. #bridgingtrends

Regulated continues to fall from Q2 to Q3, coming in at 44.6%, whilst unregulated finance rises to 55.4% in Q3, from 54.2% in Q2. #bridingtrends

Investment purchase rises to the most popular use of bridging finance, totalling to 24% of loans - a 6% increase from Q2, while loans for preventing a chain-break see a significant decline from 23% in Q2, falling to just 17% in Q3. #bridingtrends
