Growing up in St. Louis — you learn about a lot of broadcasters who were from, or worked, in that area for extended periods of time. Baseball voices primarily. The Kelly family is the prime name for hockey. A lot of locals should also recognize Steve’s work over his career. An incredibly nice person who was great at his job and willing to always say hello and talk hockey when rolling through Dallas. Congrats on a phenomenal run.
