@gregkulowiec Agreed. And, additionally, expertise is needed to vet and validate the content being generated by GAI. The novice user - of any age - can be easily fooled by inaccurate content. Like using a calculator, foundational knowledge should be gained before assistive tech is used.

I’m wildly optimistic about the potential for AI in education, but what I’m concerned about isn’t the potential for cheating or plagiarism, it is the risk of AI degrading the ability for students to persist through challenging problems.
