It's 5 more months to the Anambra state gubernatorial election, yet no moves, no signal from Peter Obi and his followers.
Peter Obi is yet to present any candidate for the Gubernatorial election coming up in November.
Do you know why? Because APGA has come to stay in Anambra state. As far as Anambra is concerned, APGA remains the party of the day no matter what.
But then, Peter Obi and his followers were in Lagos back in 2023 to dethrone APC and install LP because they believe APC has taken Lagos hostage.
If you are a Yoruba person still supporting Peter Obi today, I want you to know that you are a big fool.
Thanks.

The 46th edition of The Explainer focuses on the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway. The highway, which has been described as a game-changer and blueprint for national transformation by the Minister of Works, David Umahi, is expected to revolutionise Nigeria's economic landscape.
Spanning nine states, the highway will boost economic growth, unlock unprecedented growth, and slash logistics costs by 15-20 percent.
The highway will improve access to production and marketing centers and foster development. It will positively impact Nigeria's GDP, benefit farmers, manufacturers, and exporters nationwide, and set a new standard for road development.
This edition also contains many more reports on policies of the Tinubu-led government in the last two years. You can always rely on CLHEEAN, the NOA’s Voice/Chat Assistant, for information on these and any other policies. Visit noa.gov.ng. Enjoy it.

Today, we raise our voices for millions of children whose dreams are stolen by the harsh reality of child labour. It is unacceptable that children are still forced to work instead of going to school, pursuing their dreams and learning how to grow into productive members of the society.
Let us speed up efforts to end child labour in all ramifications by strengthening our laws, supporting families, and investing in quality education for every child.
I urge us to work towards building a country where every child is free to thrive, dream, and reach their God-given potential.
God bless our precious children!
Her Excellency,
Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON
First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria

Thank you, Mr. President, for the national honours for me and many of my colleagues, who "braved the odds and the guns" to enthrone democracy and fight for the de-annulment of the June 12 election result. I am grateful for the recognition and will continue to serve my country in the best way I know.

Today, I accompanied His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and saw him off as he departed Lagos following the Sallah break.
I remain dedicated to supporting his efforts and policies, which aim to bring real and lasting change to the lives of Nigerians.
I wish him safe travels and success in all his engagements. As always, Lagos stands ready to play its part in building the Nigeria we all hope for.

Asked on the news today about leaving the ECHR I explained that if we need to leave, we will leave.
Not with shouty announcements, but a carefully considered plan appropriate for a serious decision with significant consequences.
That’s the responsible Conservative approach and we’ll announce our plans at Party Conference.

Dear Lagosians,
I’m happy to share that we have taken delivery of three brand-new train sets of 12 coaches in total for the Lagos Blue Line Rail.
This means shorter wait times and more comfortable trips for everyone using the Blue Line. It’s a step forward in our efforts to make daily commute in Lagos less stressful and more reliable.
We’re not stopping here. Work is ongoing to extend the Blue Line all the way to Okokomaiko, and we’re aiming to finish that by 2026. I know it’s been a long time coming, but I truly believe we’re building something that will change how we move around this city for the better.
Thank you for being patient and hopeful. We’re getting there, together.

I visited a mentor and much-loved and respected older brother, Dr. Mike Adenuga Jr., AKA The Bull. It is always a joy meeting this colossus because it affords me the opportunity to speak in my mother tongue, Itsekiri, with a polyglot whose fluency in my native language is just as mine. President Tinubu's Second Anniversary: How Has Your Life And Nigeria Improved?
To help you gain some perspective, please consider the following:
When Was The Last Time You Heard of An ASUU Strike? In fact, some university undergraduates may not even be aware of a body such as the Academic Staff Union of Universities because this is the first time since President Shagari's presidency ended forty-two years ago that Nigeria has gone two years without an ASUU strike. Nigerian lecturers and professors are now paid as when due, and the education sector is now receiving the second highest sectoral allocation after defence and security. Additionally, a total of ₦32.8 billion has been awarded in student loans to an unprecedented 200,000 students—a first in Nigeria.
When Was the Last Time You Heard of Passport Scarcity? You haven't heard about that malaise because the Tinubu government ended passport scarcity and has since reduced the waiting time for passport application, renewal, and collection to less than two weeks through the new online passport portal.
Nigeria Is Now a Net Exporter of Petrol: please fact-check me: When President Tinubu assumed office on May 29, 2023, Nigeria was Africa's largest petrol importer. Today, South Africa is now Africa's largest fuel importer. Nigeria's fuel imports have drastically reduced. Not only that, according to the International Energy Agency, Nigeria has now emerged as the largest exporter of refined petroleum products in West Africa.
We are not there yet. However, on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at exactly 21:15, Nigeria broke its power generation record with a peak generation of 5,801.84MW and maximum daily energy [output] of 128,370.75 megawatt-hours (MWh). This is the highest ever attained in the history of the electricity industry in Nigeria.
Nigeria is currently undertaking the largest road construction projects in its history under Tinubu. This includes the 700-kilometre Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway project, which would pass through nine states and expand Nigeria's GDP by an estimated 6%. There is also the Illela-Sokoto-Badagry Super Highway, of which construction has already commenced.
Nigeria's debt profile has reduced from $108.2 billion on May 29, 2023, to $94.2 billion today. In Nigeria's history, only two civilian governments have been able to reduce the nation's indebtedness: the Obasanjo admin and now the Tinubu govt.
Nigeria achieved a record-breaking trade surplus of $14.31 billion in 2024, the absolute highest in our history. Total exports were $38.93 billion, while imports were $24.62 billion. This is set to improve in 2025 with the Nigeria First policy.
So, while the breasted hermaphrodite on Arise TV keeps making false allegations and accusations, such as that ministers under Tinubu plan on giving a press briefing in London, and whereas Peter Obi continues de-marketing Nigeria with lies that Tanzania has met her power needs (a lie) while Nigeria is struggling, or goes to Johns Hopkins University to falsely allege that President Tinubu is increasing poverty in Nigeria, when in fact, it was he, Peter Obi, who increased poverty in Anambra from 41.4% to 53.7%, Nigerians should note that because of President Tinubu's deft handling of our economy, a bank in which Peter Obi is a substantial shareholder just made times three what they made last year. More money had entered Peter Obi's pocket under Tinubu than in any year for the sixty-four years he has been on planet Earth.
This bank, in which Peter Obi is one of the largest shareholders (with almost 10% shares), made ₦385.2 billion in the year ending December 2024, compared to ₦124.3 billion in the year ending in December 2023.
So, while Peter Obi lies to you that things are the worst under Tinubu, the reality is that things are the best they have ever been economically for Peter Obi under Tinubu.
In conclusion, after two years of Tinubu, all Nigerians, including the president's bitterest critics, are better off.
