There are a few players throughout the past few decades of esports who, when looked to as examples of accomplishments and professionalism, become the definition. They escape the orbit of a "pro-player" and become the Face of their space; org and sport alike. You Garrett are one of those few. It's a rarified air to be a part of, and will define the story of both Rocket League AND Esports for the foreseeable future. I hope you can look back at your career with admiration, and peace. Youve done it all, you've accomplished every single achievement one could, and you did it as yourself. It's been an honor to watch you, cast you, and tear down Halo lobbies with you. Much love man, you'll always be one of the greatest whos ever lived.

Well guys, this is it. I have officially retired from professional Rocket League. I will make a video soon with the reasons why, some of which are obvious and some of which are a bit more personal. But for now, I just want to say thank you. This experience has been one of a lifetime, one that I will forever be grateful for and cherish. It's been almost a decade now since this journey began, and it has gone by so fast. From day one, I just wanted to appreciate it and not take it for granted, and looking back I am very proud. I have made so many memories from this game. Some of hardship and failure, and some of overcoming what I felt was impossible. All the friendships and relationships I have made, places I have had the privilege of going to, and it's all because of Rocket League. I am eternally grateful I stumbled upon this game and community, and I hope I was able to impact it even a fraction of how much it has impacted me. I won't be going too far, as I will still be making content around the game, but it is certainly the end of a huge chapter of my life, one that is bittersweet to close. To all my teammates, and those who supported me through all this, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. GarrettG

Since Rocket League has actually added some nice quality of life features the past year, what features/changes would you like to see added next year? Can be big or small. I'd love to see 👇 - Esports tab/reworked esports shop - Ranked Heatseeker - Watch ranked games/tune into specific lobbies - Fennec added as default car for new accounts - Ball skins (idk what else to call it 💀) - Map skins, perhaps your favourite org logos on the grass of the map like they do in the NFL for example. - Creative mode - More cool/unique maps in general, latest woods map was nice.

The biggest addition I'd love to see added would be more inclusion of the RLCS and the esports side of the game: • Give me CS style pick'ems in-game with decal and sticker rewards rewards • Player and team stickers of logos and signatures that you can stick on your car • A dedicated esports stream that plays in-game like we have in Fortnite • Pro player car presets in the options Creator and pro item bundles as we had years ago And finally a line of genuine communication where creators and pros can have conversations with passionate people like Devin to give feedback on how to improve and grow the game. Multiple perspectives is what's been needed for years now, on both the game itself and the esport.
