Fascism is antithetical to the human condition. It always burns itself out. What matters is that we protect as many people as possible until it does. And that we step up to fill the vacuum in true leadership and bold policy that Democratic leaders refuse to fill themselves.

Before spiraling into a pit of despair, I treated today like Day 5 of #RoWritMo and absolutely nothing else, logging 2627 words and my favorite line so far: "I know I can’t let a strange man steal my hair just because he’s handsome."

Day 4 of #RoWritMo, and after logging 3406 words, I've hit my first milestone, aka 25% of the way to my goal of 50k!

Because of numerous #NaNoWriMo concerns, the latest being an atrocious and timely AI-related one, my romance writer's group and I have peeled off to do our own November challenge. So this year, I'll be tracking my adventure towards 50k words with #RoWritMo!
