Dealers pay thousands to list on their platform and consumers trust it to show them an honest market - and the CMA thinks that trust may have been abused. It's not an isolated problem either: around 50% of online reviews are estimated to be fake - the entire review ecosystem that underpins how people buy cars in the UK is under scrutiny.
