We are now able to share that all data collection has been finalised on STRATA, and the data are now being analysed. We are looking forward to being able to share the results of the study in 2025.

@BristolStrata @Autistica @SarahMarieOB @Sarahhdbristol @MrJW18 @petervhale @Amy_Advocates @NIHRresearch @NIHRinvolvement @BrsTrialsCentre @BristolBRC @AWP_RD Collectively, @BristolStrata and @adept_2 have randomised almost 600 #autistic adults - the largest RCTs of #MentalHealthSupport interventions for autistic adults ever done. Both studies are in follow up stage and findings will be known by this time next year. Watch this space.

In addition, over half our our participants have now completed their participation in the study, reaching week 52. Data collection for the trial is expected to be complete by the end of October 2024.

This means that 92% of our participants in the STRATA trial returned the main questionnaire 16 weeks after enrollment. This asks key questions about participants' mental health, which will be used to determine whether sertraline is effective in treating anxiety in autistic adults

We are very pleased to share that we have achieved a retention rate of 92% for our primary outcome at 16 weeks 👇

We are delighted to announce that as of yesterday, February 29th, @adept_2 has completed recruitment! 267 autistic adults (19 over target) randomized to GSH/TAU. A huge thank you to our participants, research team, advisory group, and everyone who supported the study🎉

WE DID IT. 4 weeks ahead of target and 12 more participants than planned (to respect commitment of those whose GP checks were in process whe we reached required 306). Now 12 months of follow up of our last participant before we work on results. More facts and figures to follow 🎊
