I liked Hawkes, but obviously hasn’t worked out for the lad, ahh well, we move on and Tranmere fans will forever want him to sign back every transfer window.

Tranmere Rovers FC can confirm that Josh Hawkes will be leaving the Club to pursue opportunities elsewhere. Josh joined on loan from Sunderland in the summer of 2021, before making the move permanent in January 2022. He has since made 151 appearances for the Club, scoring 27 goals. We would like to thank Josh for his commitment and contributions over the past four seasons. Everyone at Tranmere Rovers wishes him the very best for the future. #TRFC #SWA
