The manager at this company asked me a while back was I ok working opposite this guy.. As I was saying yes, he injected 'because he is my friend'.. It was then I told him there is no such thing as friends in business... Your absolutely right... But you also heard what I said in the spaces earlier, 2 key points. 1 I've known the 2 in my project for half my age and I'd trust them with my naked wife. 2 I am the financial input side, they have nothing to lose and everything to gain. We all gain equally, only I risk what I put in. Happy Monday! I have a message for those of you who are founders of businesses. You should trust your team, but don't trust them to the point that they actually have full control of your company. I've watched several founders fumble their company, lose key contacts and even their website ownership over pure chaotic Trust for their team. If you are a Founder make sure that you own your website. If you are a Founder make sure that you are named on your articles of incorporation or business license, whether that's a numbered company you own or your actual name depending on your setup. Make sure you are the one in control of your intellectual property. Make sure that you have non-compete non-disclosures with your team. It's very easy to disagree when it comes to business and the last thing you want is to jeopardize what you are putting your energy to build if someone doesn't see your vision.
