✍️Sign our petition - Defend the British Glass Industry A new glass tax came into force in the UK on 1 April 2025. It is part of the Packaging Extended Producer Responsibility aimed at encouraging recycling. Unfortunately, it also adds up to an extra 10p on a newly manufactured glass bottle.
