@FiveLeavesBooks Man at the Helm by Nina Stibbe - despite events that might be found traumatic this is actually hilarious and ends well. Catwings by Ursula le Guin - this may be aimed at 5-8 year olds but I doubt Le Guin ever wrote a clumsy sentence and who wouldn’t want a book about flying cats?

I see BookBub have disabled replies for this ad, so I have to QT and say that their ad copy suggesting that paying anything more than £2 for an ebook is “overpaying” is an insult to the very authors who provide their source of income. Poor show, BookBub.

@Matineegirl Jealous!! definitely go to the Strand — amazing bookstore. If it was me I’d also check out The Ripped Bodice — a new romance only bookshop. You MUST go for a long walk around Central Park, particularly if it’s autumn — so gorgeous.
