Funny story: Kofi used to talk all the time about how the initial run of the New Day wasn’t set up for success and it was so overly corny that they all thought it was going to be a heel gimmick but Vince wanted them as faces. Kofi said it wasn’t really getting over but when they got to Detroit for a show, that was the first time they heard boos and people saying it sucks. Those people were me, I was giving them hell 😂 Fast forward a bit later and they were off and running to have an incredible heel and babyface run

@Fightful Injuries have actually *increased* since house shows have been marginalized/eliminated. With less practice, bodies get stiffer, muscle memory goes away and those "bump callouses" disappear. The idea is *not* to feel like you've been in a car crash every match.
