We all want life to return to normal, but real life doesn't working like that. You cant ignore nature, it will take from you until you fight or die. (8)

Recently, I've felt compelled to tell everyone my story. The situation with Covid, and the lack of people who believe or take it seriously is infuriating. Back in 2009, I was a healthy 22 year old when I caught h1n1. It was the most sick I'd ever been. (Thread) #COVID19

My point is, you may survive Covid, you might not be afraid or believe it's a big deal, but your body may never be the same. Covid is much worse that h1n1, and I'm worried about what that will do to my friends and family who contract such a serious disease. (7)

They said for the rest of my life, every 10 years, I need to have surgery to replace the battery. They recently told me I use the pacemaker so often I will need to get it replaced every 8 years. (6)

The same condition that randomly kills teen athletes on the basketball court, and almost killed NHL Jay Bouwmeester. The irregular heartbeat was a side effect from h1n1. Growing up I didnt have this condition. (5)

... and asking if I had a previous medical condition. I said no, but told them what I knew. The next day, after many tests, I had a pacemaker implanted. They discovered I have complete heart block, an irregular heartbeat. (4)

Everything was going well until the doctors rushed my husband from the room and I blacked out. My husband said I died. I woke up in a post op room with 12 doctors rushing in and out. They told me my heart rate was dangerously low.. (3)

When I recovered, I started noticing my heart would occasionally stop, mostly while laying in bed before sleep. I thought it must be anxiety and I was tricking my brain. Fast forward to 2014. I was in labor with my twins and had to have an emergency c-section. (2)
