Longshot, but if the Switch 2's new "C" button is a "Community" button, and the new Joycon can work like a mouse, and a new Mario Kart will be a showcase for the new system... It could be pretty cool to get a Mario Kart track editor in there.

Dallas is one of only three US cities to get a Switch 2 preview event in April.
Can I take credit because I once suggested to Nintendo PR that they should have a presence at the State Fair of Texas -- the same physical location as the April preview? No, but I'll say it anyway.

Yes, “Nintendo Switch 2” is a boring name (especially by Nintendo standards), but from a marketing point of view I have to concede that it’s probably the right one. They are understandably very wary of another “Wii U” situation.
At least it’s not “The New Nintendo Switch.”

On Xbox, I completely forgot that I got 1000/1000 achievement points in Palworld... I also kind of forgot about Palworld. Because, IMHO, it is forgettable. I don't think I recommend it.

More than 100 hours in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth (my personal Game of the Year) and 0 hours in anything multiplayer on PS5. That does indeed sum up my 2024 year in PlayStation pretty well.
(Next two most-played games for me were Astro Bot and Metaphor.)

Astro Bot is a totally worthy Game of the Year winner at #TheGameAwards. Phenomenally well-made.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is still my personal pick, but when you've also got amazing stuff like Belatro, Metaphor, Indiana Jones, and much more... It's been a good year for games.

I am all here for a new Onimusha but also chuckling quietly at the idea that we're getting a new Onimusha from Capcom before we get a new Dino Crisis.

I expected Indiana Jones and the Great Circle to at least be decent considering the pedigree of Machine Games. I don't think I expected it to be nearly as interesting (or as good) as it is. A stronger Game of the Year contender than I was prepared for.
