SFRS personnel from Kyle teamed up with RNLI crew members this morning at Kyle pier and pontoons emphasising water safety messages by offering advice and distributing information leaflets to a wide range of water enthusiasts. @KyleRNLI @Kylefirestation @LSO_Highland @fire_scot

It’s been a week now since our Fire Skills course finished. Here’s some highlights 🎥 Again, teaching young people fundamental skills of a firefighter, gaining the SFRS Employability Award & developing communication and team skills. Looking forward to doing again in the future

Massive thanks to everyone who passed on their well-wishes & generosity of the people in Kyle & Lochalsh. Supplying us with food & drinks to help keep us going as well which is appreciated by us all. Especially for ourselves to Hectors2Gl for sorting us out with some scran 👏🏻

Lovely drive to meet the @BroadfordFire crew this evening (no, that’s not their station pictured below!). Great to meet them and have a chat. Thanks for the brew!

Well folks, that’s it!! After more than 30 years, and at 1800 this evening I walked out the door as a serving @fire_scot Firefighter for the last time. Time to ‘hang up the helmet’ and move on to the next chapter. What a privilege it has been to serve with so many amazing people
