@BrodieOnLinux Why is it you are always pushing and supporting whatever pops up no matter how horrible it is. This is putting infrastructure in that will keep evolving over time to strip us of anonymity and the ability to speak up.

Would you rather a minimal implementation that does not force any truthfulness or a government developed implementation that is forced on you that you have no control over. You don't get to choose none.

For context on one part of the difficulty, Debian doesn't even have a web based bug tracker, they have a web front end to read it but to actually report a bug it's done entirely through email

Technically they can vote for none of the above and if that is the winning vote than the election reopens but the fact that they even let an election happen with a single candidate happen is a mess

Debian's latest project leader election is starting off strong, they literally have 1 candidate. People have stepped up to possibly create a real election but the nomination period is over

@BrodieOnLinux They are doing so much hard work most other Distros couldn't handle. But when it comes to community tooling/infra - the one thing almost any project gets right - they stopped developing in the early 2000s. Wish them all the best tho. A fuckton of infrastructure depends on Debian

The last 24 hours or so have been a phenomenal litmus test for AI content, I am completely convinced that there is a sizable section of the population who are unable to perceive the uncanny valley. For all these people unless it's growing an extra limb AI now is photo realistic.

@diosHD_ @NERDNATO1 @DrKewp It's failing at both creating a realistic lighting simulation and only light sources in the scene, it's very clearly adding new light sources.

negative, the AI is reading the light sources that were placed and it's calibrating the light in order to create a realistic lighting simulation (approximation). it will take time for devs. to figure out the right way to light scenes if they want to use this AI model for lighting.

you're making an assumption that it's nvidia that created the lighting and completely forgetting that the devs are the ones that position those lamps and global lighting and then the AI uses that info to create the image you're seeing based on the lighting the devs added to the scene. nvidia didn't just add the same lighting to each character model, that's a result of how the devs created their lighting rigs inside the games.
