The bad guys worked with their allies in the media to smear mostly peaceful protestors and claim something that was not an insurrection was an insurrection to sway public opinion.
If people want to politicize Andor that badly as an analogy for Democrats being the bad guys, I won't argue.

Take the word "Trump" out of the equation, because he's everyone's favorite trigger word.
Constituents vote for candidate X's agenda.
Elected officials campaign on candidate X's agenda.
Elected officials get elected, then get in the way of candidate X's agenda.
Constituents express their disapproval in primaries.
That's the way it's supposed to work.
Quite frankly, voters aren't doing this nearly enough.

No president is beyond criticism, and this president offers plenty to criticize.
There are certain officials who only exist because of Trump (like Marjorie Traitor Brown) who should learn their place.
