A college coach told me this spring that Gaven French is the best 2027 prospect in the Knoxville area. He announced his commitment to Tennessee on Wednesday. Heritage's French, the @TDT_Sports 2025 Player of the Year, batted .476 (1.371 OPS) to go with a 1.70 ERA in 48 IP.
