I would genuinely rather have movies influence the games a second time and get anti-hero Kano. Because NRS Kano is just a Hsu Hao ripoff in backstory and aesthetic and his rivalry with Sonya just got boring across 3 story modes

I personally think Linden Ashby is still the best iteration of Johnny Cage up to this point. Karl Urban was great, but Linden just brings that kind of energy to JC that really makes the character. Still the Comedic relief but somewhat grounded.

@ouiouicwoissan I suspect they’re hinting Liu isn’t entirely human in this movie (“i’m the last son of dragons and the fire in his eyes). Maybe he’s half dragon or a demigod and being impaled killed his “mortal” part so now he can ascend to godhood

i can’t remember if it was confirmed, but i wonder how they’ll explain liu kang becoming fire god in mk3. because in mk11, lord raiden sacrifices himself, but in mk2, he really has no reason to do that. maybe liu kang fights the elder gods and wins? like, i have no idea 😭

@BruskPoet Looking it up, she did forget to mention that when Raiden revived in the OG timeline, his essence was presumably corrupted by Onaga. But other than that, she was right. (And I think that alone shows that she knows her stuff and she’s played the OG games.)
