@BrojayLouw Miles hasn't figured anything out yet. He's just refused to let his dad die after 5 minutes of mostly strangers convincing him he should. Perfectly understandable reaction from Miles. But he's not yet working with any actual information.

@BrojayLouw You can say that, but that doesn't make it true. It's a fantastical idea, yes, based on fundamental "laws' we don't understand which govern the Web of Life and Destiny. But fantastical ≠ illogical within the confines of the story.

@dirkdada Multiverse - Gwens that exist in an infinite number of realities - Gwens whose lives will be ranged between minimal to drastic differences. There has to be versions of Gwen that didn't die after dating Spiderman. Half assing it to try to claim a premise that can't be possible

@BrojayLouw Yes, in the movie. Gwen literally tells us "In every other universe...." She is referring to all the dead Gwens!

@dirkdada Canon is the rules, lore and facts of a franchise. We verify it by connecting the information we get and the information if we're relying on the spider society then the canon doesn't make sense long term applying the concept of the multiverse

@dirkdada Just because someone tells you something for a while doesn't mean you just believe it. She's listening to people who are also going about it as far as they know. They say that's the case. That doesn't mean it's true. Gwen was susceptible to believe it doesn't mean she just should

@annetnami33 @Suzierizzo1 Sure when those who didn't sell slaves to them, they threatened the natives with guns and the natives stole some of the stragglers and tortured them but eventually got bested. The then took them to Europe and what would later become the United States and Spain today.

@BrojayLouw Also, I sincerely hope that canon is not a complete mass delusion, because *that* would be unbelievable. Miguel needs to be right enough that it was plausible to believe it was true. I'd rather Miles discover a way to fix things rather than him just being purely right by luck.

@BrojayLouw This is true in comics. It upsets comics Gwen that she almost never finds a living variant in the universes she visits. It spawned the saying "Death loves Gwen Stacy." And prompted her to name herself Ghost Spider b/c all the dead Gwens made her feel like a ghost in her own skin.

@BrojayLouw You continue to just assume Gwen did not get convincing evidence when she obviously did. She's been to dozens of universes to hunt anomalies. All the ones she goes to, Gwen dies the same way, thrown off a high perch, who Spider-Man tries to save, but ends up killing instead. +

@BrojayLouw If they were given convincing evidence that saving one person would doom an entire universe, you think Spider-Man would always choose to save the one person anyway? It's only a simple decision in your head b/c you have already decided Canon is BS. The Society has not.

@dirkdada third movie even happening that will probably dispel the entire thing. Uncle Ben dying is a catalyst for Peter Parker but Captain Stacy wasn't a necessity beyond the movie saying so because reasons
