@skinnyprinsess Ive been averaging like 30k daily (per month) since last June and im fine, the body adapts, 10k is literally nothing too if you live in a city where you walk anywhere
English

please do NOT aim for more than 10k steps a day. i know it seems like an ‘easy quick fix’ but i’m telling you, your body is NOT made to endure this much stress on a daily basis. you will hurt your joints and cause lasting, painful damage. DO NOT DO EXTREME THINGS TO YOUR BODY
kiyone *•.@snowkkiyo
i cant fathom how some of you are getting 30-40k steps from a purely physical standpoint because i've been trying to get above 15k every day and it is like pure torture on my thighs and calves. what is your secret please
English

@SachaFelineCat Im in London, I'm not in uni but in the year below and im super close to your uni, you go to kings right? Id love to be friends :) but it won't let me dm you
English

@bee_is_starving @inukgs Also I drink unsweetened almond Milk (it's like 140 cal for a litre), plus it's a source of fat so it's quite satiating
English

@BrokenAirCon_ @inukgs what drinks / liquids do you drink if you don't mind me asking?:3
English

@bee_is_starving @inukgs I drink Huel, also stores that sell sports nutrition usually have big bags of meal replacement as a powder which you can mix into a drink yourself. MyProtein brand has one. If you're in the UK you can find them in Boots or holland and barret.
English

@inukgs Honestly I've switched to like 90% liquid diet and after a few days I lost the desire to eat completely because it feels so wierd now. Food noise is caused by malnutrition so if you live off nutritionally complete meal replacement drinks it should go away because (cont)

@bro1475070 @alilyofthepond Ohh that makes sense, I think i just really suck at getting my gag reflex to do anything so I usually need to brute force purging via gravity
English

@BrokenAirCon_ @alilyofthepond ur oesophagus has muscles which allow it to move food through even against gravity. thats how u can swallow food upside down and all, so the same applies to throwing up
English

@chevr0Ns @americanoand @mangosaladx Tbf when I maintained 14s on 2.5k+ I was walking 30k and swimming for two hours a day... it was really easy to do tho because of how much I was eating, like I'd pass out if I did that on my current intake lol
English

@ttvatreuz @mangosaladx Definitely just water retention and food weight
English

@BrokenAirCon_ @mangosaladx no definitely not off. it randomly jumped from like 93 to 97 within a week of a 1200 deficit it was so wild
English

@ttvatreuz @mangosaladx Over what period of time? Sometimes I gain up to 9lbs of water/food weight, it's normal. If you genuinely gained 7lbs could your cal tracking be off?
English

@BrokenAirCon_ @mangosaladx no i mean like from 90lbs to 97lbs just from eating 1200 :/ it made no sense
English

@bitemeharderr Literally what does one use Twitter for that isn't shedtwt or porn
English

@ttvatreuz @mangosaladx It's impossible to gain on 1200 unless you're like bmi 8. If by 'huge' you mean bloating due to higher intake, that's just your body adjusting, it settles after a few weeks. I'm 166cm and I've maintained 44-45kg for a year averaging like 2k cals, you just have to be active
English

@americanoand @mangosaladx I literally maintained 14s on 2500 cals 😭
English

@BrokenAirCon_ @mangosaladx real i was eating chipotle once a week when i was in the 14s lol
English

@alilyofthepond I think i just suck at triggering my gag reflex so I need gravity or nothing works. But yeah, I've heard that standing makes it less likely for you to pass out or something so it's safer
