This movie never gets enough praise. I didn't know it was released in theaters, it wasn't advertised very well so I had no idea of its existence till it came out on TV and rent. It's a marvel in animation, and the story is top notch too.

@amulet_spad15 @FoolyRand As I said, I could appreciate it. But hot tempered girls were a dime a dozen. A girl would doesn’t see marriage as an end goal was refreshing in the 90s.

I love but I also hate the huge difference between 90's Rei and crystal's, I know some people find the 90s version too aggressive and even unnecessarily rude to usagi, while the crystal's version is more mysterious and apparently mature (I'm currently reading the manga)-

@amulet_spad15 @FoolyRand I can appreciate it. But while it’s tempting to make the fire element bad tempered, it’s not a requirement.

@amulet_spad15 @FoolyRand Rei’s depiction in the manga is my favorite. If for no other reason than she’s not as boy crazy as her 90s anime counterpart. While the rest of the inner senshi are running after romance (even Ami), she’s just like “No thanks.”
