I know many, if not most, that follow me are liberal/left. It’s time to say enough. Tell your congressmen, enough. Tell the liberal press, enough. Tell your friends, enough. You can’t keep fomenting hate and violence and justifying it because you “disagree” with someone’s political or social views. You claim to be the party of tolerance, but more than half of you state that violence is acceptable against those that hold a different OPINION OR VIEW than your own. You MUST say enough to this far left violent movement that has taken over your side of the political spectrum.

Broken? I guess you mean no longer having a far left administration colluding with big tech to censor American citizens? I guess you should put me in the category that’s glad the system is NOW “broken.” It’s a real shame the federal government can no longer censor based on an administrations extreme beliefs. Nate, in theory I love your work, but the fact that you are in the camp that loves censorship as long as it promotes your tribal beliefs, is more that l than a bit sad and I wish you and your tribe could practice tolerance, rather than proclaim your fictional ownership of it.

This morning at PIT, so many TSA employees expressed their appreciation for standing with them and shared their financial hardship. End this ridiculous DHS shutdown NOW. Pay these hardworking TSA agents and all DHS employees who collectively keep our country more secure.

Both sides might actually work for compromise rather than use the military, TSA, etc., as political pawns every time we have a shutdown. Also, only essential workers forced to work, and arguably the military, should get back pay, including Congress and staff, once a shutdown ends. All of this would result in no, or MUCH SHORTER, shutdowns. Neither side makes any effort to compromise on any issue, and that hurts our nation.

Other than military, and other essential personnel, like TSA, FAA controllers, etc. that actually go to work, and don’t call in sick, nobody should get paid during the shutdown or have their missed pay paid to them after shutdown ends. There will be a lot more pressure on Congress, on both sides of the aisle, if they didn’t get paid, and their constituents didn’t get paid and made whole after the shutdown ends. Because all these shutdowns really amount to is a “delay” in Pay, nobody in Congress on, either side of the aisle, takes the shutdowns serious enough.

check out Kiro which is Amazon/AWS. They designed it to be a Claude code killer. It uses the Claude sonnet and Opus models. And does basically everything Claude code does, but adds the ability to build and use specs (requirements, design and tasks), which it builds for you. This makes it function so much better than Claude code. Second half of last year, I tried to create a fairly complicated app for our business using Claude code, but after a couple months gave up. I recently made the same attempt in Kiro, and I’m nearly done. How it works is very similar, but because of the spec mode, it works so much better and doesn’t make as many stupid mistakes as Claude code.
