@hrbmeow When it came out, I was trying to solo flawless it. In the last encounter I used Lament, and there was a constant 30% chance that the Incendiors would explode from Lament (which shouldn't be possible), nuking me, ending the run.

@LostHistory9 @deeple101 Feanor's redemption, the avenging of mankind, the full acceptance of the dwarves as part of the Children, the numenorean fleet's fate, and the entire remaking of Arda as a whole in a second song that the men (and probably the dwarves) too are involved in.

@LostHistory9 @deeple101 It was likely written before there was any conception beyond what we know as the first age, and as he kept writing, it would cause more inconsistencies than what the storyline would be worth. It is, nonetheless, my favorite fragment(s) of the legendarium.
