Off to London today to co-facilitate our Civil Society Group review and planning day. So proud of these folk. Wearing my brand new silver cowboy boots (which are so beautiful they bring tears to the eye!) in their honour.

No one tells you the night before you give birth that you’ll spend that same night each year for many years to come making birthday cakes to increasingly complex specifications. Here’s this years!

@JackieRed10 Oh Jackie. I'm so sorry to hear this. I think covid affected me for a week tops. This just keeps on going. It seems most have it for 3 weeks so I suspect I've got another week to go yet! I jopd you're feeling better soon ❤️

@BronwenMEdw Knocked me out for 3 weeks - COVID knocked me out for 2 days - yet I tested negative on this virus - still struggling to walk to local shop 200 metres away …

This virus is wild. Currently on day 12. Every time something gets better, something else gets worse. From a sore throat to a full on cold to a bad cough and now to a bad ear. What on earth is this thing?

@BronwenMEdw No idea, I’m on week 3. I have had a sensation as if I’ve burned the front of my tongue, sore and tingling. Alan started with the same sensation this week. Just found out his mum has had the tongue sensation for weeks too.

* I obvs meant early 50s but my brain isn't working 🙃

She remained our cheerleader beyond our dancing years and its so sad that I never got to thank her for helping me become the woman I am today. I hope she'd be proud that I really can 'own' a room! I still feel shocked about her sudden loss what a fabulous woman she was 💃 🕺 ❤️

Today was the funeral for my dance teacher who died unexpectedly a few weeks ago. She was in her early 40s and in good health. I couldn't make the funeral today but have spent the day reflecting. I've not danced in 10 years but the influence she had on me has lasted.
