I met a man who told me a story I won’t forget. Back in middle school, he had a girlfriend from Tennessee. He said she was beautiful, kind, and had the sweetest accent you’ve ever heard. Then one day… she was gone. Moved away. Lost touch. But he never forgot her.

Last night I read a message from a woman dealing with the Tulsa Housing Authority who is now facing homelessness. She’s not alone. I hear from people across Oklahoma every day who are being pushed out by a system that’s supposed to help them. We need accountability!
