Matthew Stafford won 0 playoff games & 0 Division titles in 12 YEARS in Detroit and people gave him every excuse imaginable. Didn't win anything until he demanded a trade to a loaded roster with an all time great play caller (the same things people use to discredit Hurts). Trevor Lawrence sucks for 5 years and people are still holding out hope for him to be great. Justin Herbert gets called elite 6 years in with 0 playoff success & worse efficiency than you expect. Josh Allen is great but got a DEI MVP last year & has fewer Conference Championship wins than Rex Grossman. John Elway put up Kerry Collins numbers for the 1st decade of his career. Jalen Hurts has a couple bad games after 3 highly productive winning seasons & a Super Bowl MVP and people want him benched. Being tall and having a strong arm gives you an insane leash.
