Today author Alicia Klepeis visited our students to talk about how to become a writer. SHe shared her experiences living in many countries throughout the world and shared her non fiction work with us. It was a wonderful experience!

We're excited to be hosting another movie night, this time with Berekely! Both schools participated in the "One School One Book" initiative by reading Mr. Popper's Penguins. and we are excited to celebrate together!

Yesterday our 4th and 5th graders put on an AMAZING show! Thank you to the Music Department for your dedication and support.

Brookside Elementary School is hosting a winter coat drive. We will be collecting new and gently used coats, along with hats, gloves, and socks (new only). All donations will be given to The River Homeless Mission and Community Help Center in Hackensack NJ.

On a snowy start to the day, Buddy the Elf and our Brookside Gingerbread People welcomed students in the car line and into the building, spreading smiles and holiday cheer. What a fun way to kick off our last day before winter break! Happy Holidays everyone!
