@Everett_G07 The charges on the cops in addition to the DV is what complicates things. But from an attorney’s perspective there is a difference in offering violence to the officers and actively resisting. More could have happened, but the video we saw is an overcharge of felony obstruction

Since I’m the one who asked the question, I’ll add the proper context here rather than @DukesandBell929. If it was Penix’s job to lose, it would just be stated. There’s no reason to play any games. It’s the most simple and direct statement. Ryan wouldn’t commit to that and he doesn’t have to. He can defer to the HC. In fairness to Stefanski, he wasn’t asked directly last week - because #Falcons PR was limiting questions - so I asked this week. They need a 2nd QB on the roster. If Penix injury has him out of training camp, someone has to take those snaps. In one sense, it’s smart not to commit to Penix because a pending FA starter may not want to come here knowing he will lose the job as soon as Penix is healthy. They are keeping their options open for a reason. Penix has questions about health, capability & production. At this point we have to assume there’s a competition in camp for QB1.
