Our seniors built this country. They deserve to be protected by the laws of this country, not silenced by corporate fine print.
Corporations should not be able to force senior employees into secret arbitration when they've been discriminated against because of their age.
Right now, millions of American workers are forced to sign arbitration agreements before a dispute ever arises. When age discrimination happens, those agreements are used to silence them and protect corporations.
We introduced the Protecting Older Americans Act to make those agreements unenforceable in age discrimination cases. No more forcing seniors out of the courtroom before the process even starts.
Our office met with the Keep Beaufort County Beautiful board to learn about the work they are doing to get a new single-use plastics ordinance passed.
Partnering with artists from USCB to put up new Beaufort County signs, they're showing us what real community looks like. The Lowcountry is one of the most beautiful places on earth. Thank you for working to keep it this way.
South Carolina STRONG.
@real_hotaru The green square is the odd one out.
The other two have three similarities between them, being both irregular and red and shapes. All other combos have fewer similarities.
Also I'm racist.
