@FarabaughFB Nick am I crazy that this just seems wild? Not so much the Teller stuff but we couldn’t run the ball last year without doing the jumbo package stuff and even then we were average-ish. It feels like a big drop from Isaac and he was steadily declining himself.

As this continues to unfold, the Steelers are showing they really like Spencer Anderson.
The Steelers have had urgency to fill other needs all offseason, which says something to me.
He’ll almost certainly at least have a chance to win the starting LG job.

@FarabaughFB Definitely need a big vet body. Spence rocks but I just don’t think he has the size for it. I would love for our offense to produce on the ground with just 5 down linemen like pretty much everyone else can do. We struggled to do that even with Isaac.

They need to sign a guard. Even if you like Spencer Anderson, and I think they probably do, they also need depth on the interior of that OL, too.
Once they sign a guard, they *could* theoretically call it a day.

Remember, it was the Ravens Eric DeCosta who sold the #Eagles on Jaire Alexander being OK to acquire. Alexander retired shortly after being dealt. I don’t t buy for a second what they’re selling on Crosby, especially now that they landed Hendrickson just hours later.

I'm mixed on what team should do with Queen, but have always leaned to keeping him. Not worth trying to find another ILB option in a weaker market to deal Queen for a later Day 3 pick.
Think you can still draft and have succession plan for '27. Good class.

The problem with a Patrick Queen trade is - teams are calling because FA options are running thin.
Steelers deal Queen and now they're in that boat. I do like the draft class, but don't know if rookie can instantly fill the role. Payton Wilson has yet to become a run-down guy.
