@mturner1961 I think getting from the paddock to the stand and back is a faff.

@brucemillington I never understand why trainers and owners prefer to watch big races on the big screen. I would want to see it with my own eyes.

Surely the first of many classic wins for the brilliant @loughnane_billy, who is not just a great rider but speaks really well too. A massive asset for racing.

@Caselaaahoops @JeffStelling 🤷 He’d have done a decent job I’m sure but so has Simon. So hard following a legend.
English

@brucemillington @JeffStelling Why didn’t jules get given the job
English

Simon Thomas has done a fine job trying to fill the massive shoes of @JeffStelling, but once you realise how often he says “in terms of” you can’t unrealise it.

@JasonHeavey Tony was always such a nice, friendly guy.

Very sad news. 'Tiger' was a legend at the Daily Star – and in press rooms – from the paper's launch in 1978 to 2019 when he covered the Cheltenham Festival (aged 74).

@Footballtweet When your time is up after you’ve had a decent run just swallow it and keep quiet.

🏴🗣️ Mark Lawrenson on the BBC:
“Well I’m 65 and a white male, so I was let go. Has it gone woke? It is top of the woke league. They are frightened to death, absolutely and totally frightened to death.
You saw the stuff with Gary Lineker last season and obviously people at the head of the BBC, I think day by day, I think the integrity of the corporation gets chipped off.
It used to be absolutely fantastic but they are woke, plus 100%.”

@MiguelDelaney What about the rule concerning staying in your technical area?
English

@brucemillington You are an apologist for an industrial failure of governance, Bruce, in an area you have extensive professional experience in. I can only guess at your motives.
English

@robbopalmer It makes a huge change from the bewildering coverage we are served up in England, where you are transported to 17 different seats in the ground every five minutes.
English

@brucemillington First rule of directing. Always use Cam One for in-play coverage.
Don’t try to overcomplicate the main play.
Use the score of other cameras for close-ups, replays and colour.
Will be a Spanish director. Coverage over there is outstanding.

@david_stewart Sorry to hear that, David. Let’s hope the medical team can win this latest battle and get you some much-deserved respite.
