@kub_richard Strangely Aberdeen was a very wealthy city with the oil… now SNP and Greens want it stopped. This has cost thousands of jobs, Aberdeen is in major decline. The profit goes elsewhere as none of the oil is extracted by British companies. The tax benefits the UK

While student loans and rising student debt are dominating the conversation at Westminster, it’s worth remembering that the SNP Government scrapped tuition fees in 2008. We did so because we don’t believe anyone no matter their background should face financial barriers to accessing higher education. No one should be punished for choosing to go to university, and education should be based on ability to learn — not ability to pay.
