On a cold and emotional evening, 82 people were served with food, drinks and blankets on what was our last ever evening of #homelessoutreach. We even got James on the team photo (never happens).

@MadMaxFlapper Yes of course we have, we've been working with service users for 3.5 years. We haven't stopped because we didn't get our way. We feel the best place for a homeless person is in a home, not on the street.

@MadMaxFlapper We are yes, the trustees met several weeks ago and because of the lack of ability to any longer convince homeless people to transfer into accommodation (our primary objective) we have dissolved the charity and assets are being distributed to other charities.

For 3.5 years we have served the homeless community in Birmingham and this period in our lives has now drawn to an end. We have learned so much, that there is good in the world at this difficult time and this gives us hope for the future. Take care. One love. Team HBH xx

Finally we want to especially thank our amazing volunteers. You are without a doubt the best people we have ever met, and you are family. Come rain or shine you gave your time to help those with little or nothing in life and that is a badge of honour you will wear for ever ❤️

A massive thanks to @bigyellowss for letting us use an empty unit today for Lara & Josh from @astonbiosoc to make up packs of thermals and prep sleeping bags for outreach in. Not only do they provide a fantastic unit for us to use foc but we get extras like this too! ❤️

97 people served & signposted by our team on a freezing cold evening. Worrying rumours of another death. Hot food & drinks were especially welcome tonight, as were blankets, thermal mats, hats & gloves. Thanks as always to our amazing donors, & our astonishing volunteers ♥️
