Using a post-win interview as a pregnancy announcement is some extreme tour sauce.

🚨👀⛳️ #NEW — The PLAYERS Championship tournament director Lee Smith on the recent talk about the event becoming a major. “I hope you noticed our use of the word that we've somewhat shied away from over the last 10 years…” “This is a signal of the confidence, momentum, and offense that is coming out of our building these days. We're confident about the qualifications of The Players Championship. We wanted to start a conversation.” ➡️ Should The PLAYERS be a major? (Via @_DavidRumsey / @FOS)

Gary Player says Augusta National denied his request to play a round with his three grandsons. “I have been an ambassador for Augusta for all these years, yet they won’t let me have one round of golf in my life with my three grandsons." Player has served as an honorary starter at the Masters since 2012. “My grandsons are dying to know about their grandfather’s episodes on that golf course ... All the golf courses that have hosted the Open, the US Open and the PGA would oblige, but they won’t do it at Augusta." Should Augusta allow the 3x Masters champion one round with his grandsons or do you agree with the club’s decision. (H/T @GolfMonthly)
